Bridging is an advanced lash technique where lash artists use classic or volume lash extensions to fill in areas of a client’s lash line where lashes are sparse or non-existent. Developed by Leanne Harber, this technique can be used on nearly any client with small to severe lash gaps caused by a variety of factors, including:
01 – Introduction
Leanne talks about the history of her bridging technique, who it can be used on, breaking the lash rules, and more.
02 – Client Consult
The gaps in your client’s lash lines will vary in size, placement, and number. That’s why a thorough client consultation is imperative for safe and healthy application. Watch Leanne monitor her client’s expectations and answer typical consultation questions.
03 – Application
Leanne completes two bridges. Watch her technique from start to finish on one of Toni’s eyes: you’ll see everything from client prep, to preparation of the bridge, to lashing, and finally, the amazing transformation.
04 – Wrap-Up
Bridging clients require unique aftercare and fill appointments. Specifically intended to preserve the the health of your client’s natural lashes and the life of a bridge, Leanne shows your what proper aftercare appointments look like.

Start the LashPRO Academy certification process by sending two “before” photos (clearly showing gaps), one photo of the bridge (before lashing), and two “after” photos of a completed lash using the bridging process. If you achieve the standard of excellence we believe in, a certificate will be mailed to you. However, if you need some extra time and care to achieve your best, we’ll provide feedback so that you know exactly where to improve. We’re here to help you succeed.
